Quang tri: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and a Government delegation on May 23 offered incense and flowers in tribute to fallen soldiers at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel special national relic site, and the Tam Co Cave relic site on Road 20 Quyet Thang during a working visit to the central province of Quang Tri.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister's visit was part of a series of activities to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence and freedom. The Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery is one of the largest in Vietnam, serving as the final resting place for thousands of soldiers who perished during the Vietnam War.

The Quang Tri Ancient Citadel is another significant site, known for its role during the 1972 battle that marked a turning point in the war. The Prime Minister's delegation paid respects at this historical landmark, acknowledging the bravery and sacrifices made by the soldiers.

The delegation also visited Tam Co Cave, a location known for its strategic importance during the war. The cave, situated on Road 20 Quyet Thang, served as a shelter for soldiers and civilians. This site is a poignant reminder of the resilience and determination shown during challenging times.
