Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called upon the justice sector to spearhead the efforts in implementing the Politburo’s Resolution 66-NQ/TW, which focuses on renovating lawmaking and enforcement to transform existing bottlenecks into breakthroughs and boost national competitiveness. The Prime Minister’s appeal was made during a ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of the justice sector’s traditional day, held in Hanoi on August 25.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed profound gratitude towards President Ho Chi Minh for laying the groundwork for Vietnam’s revolutionary democratic justice system. He highlighted President Ho Chi Minh’s early recognition of the critical role that the Constitution and laws play in the governance of both the state and society. The Prime Minister’s remarks underscored the importance of this foundational understanding in driving contemporary reforms within the justice sector.
