Vietnamese Diplomacy Asked to Help Connect Cooperation, Enhance Nation’s Standing

Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam attended a ceremony to mark the diplomatic sector’s 80th founding anniversary (August 28, 1945-2025) on August 25, during which he showed his belief that Vietnamese diplomacy will help establish and preserve a peaceful and stable environment, pioneer in fostering cooperation, unlock and attract development resources, and constantly enhance the country’s standing.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event highlighted the vital role of diplomacy in Vietnam’s historical and contemporary context. General Secretary To Lam emphasized the need for the diplomatic sector to remain committed to building strong international partnerships and enhancing Vietnam’s global image. He stressed that by doing so, Vietnam can continue to unlock development potential and maintain its trajectory of growth and stability.

The commemoration also served as a platform to reflect on the achievements of Vietnamese diplomacy over the past 80 years and to set new goals for the future. General Secretary To Lam’s remarks underscored the importance of proactive and innovative diplomatic strategies to effectively respond to global challenges and opportunities.
