Vientiane:Prime Minister Le Minh Hung visited the Lao Star Telecom (Unitel), a joint venture between the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) of Vietnam's Ministry of National Defence and Lao Asia Telecom of Laos's Ministry of National Defence, during his official trip to Laos.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit took place in Vientiane on October 9 during Prime Minister Hung's two-day official visit to the country.

Lao Star Telecom represents a significant collaboration between Vietnamese and Laotian national defense ministries, emphasizing bilateral cooperation in the telecommunications sector.
