Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with President of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta in Hanoi on February 25. The Timor Leste leader is in Vietnam to attend the ASEAN Future Forum 2025.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various sectors. Discussions included potential partnerships in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, highlighting the mutual interest in fostering a closer relationship between Vietnam and Timor-Leste.

The ASEAN Future Forum 2025, which President Ramos-Horta is attending, serves as a platform for leaders to discuss strategic directions and future cooperation within the ASEAN region.
