Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with President of the European Council (EC) Ant³nio Costa in Hanoi on January 29. The EC leader is on a two-day official visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and the European Union.
