Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh Meets with European Council President Ant³nio Costa in Hanoi

Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with President of the European Council (EC) Ant³nio Costa in Hanoi on January 29. The EC leader is on a two-day official visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and the European Union. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, and sustainable development. Both leaders expressed a shared commitment to furthering their strategic partnership and addressing global challenges collaboratively.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted Vietnam's interest in expanding its economic relations with the EU, emphasizing opportunities for increased trade and investment. President Ant³nio Costa acknowledged Vietnam's significant role in the region and expressed the EU's readiness to support Vietnam's development goals.
