Quang Binh Targets Elimination of Substandard Housing by August 30

Quang Binh: The central province of Quang Binh is undertaking a focused initiative to eradicate temporary and dilapidated housing for disadvantaged families. The province currently identifies 1,553 homes in need of significant upgrades or replacement.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the provincial People’s Committee has dedicated 71.37 billion VND to this effort. In addition, local authorities have mobilized over 1.28 billion VND from various organizations and individuals. The initiative is further supported by nearly 2,000 volunteer workdays, highlighting the community’s commitment to the cause.

Districts across Quang Binh have pledged to begin construction efforts in March, with the goal of completing the housing improvements by the August 30 deadline. This coordinated approach aims to significantly improve living conditions for many families in the region.
