Remains of Fallen Vietnamese Volunteer Soldiers, Experts Repatriated from Southern Laos

Sekong: Authorities of Sekong province in southern Laos held a ceremony on May 28 to hand over and repatriate the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos during wartime periods.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event marked a significant step in the ongoing efforts to honor and remember the contributions of Vietnamese personnel who supported Laos during conflicts. The repatriation process has been a collaborative effort between the two countries, reflecting the deep historical ties and mutual respect they share.

The ceremony was attended by officials from both countries, along with family members of the fallen soldiers and experts.
