Remains of Vietnamese Martyrs and Soldiers Repatriated from Laos

Champasak: The remains of 16 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts have been repatriated from Laos. These individuals, who sacrificed their lives in various periods in the Lao provinces of Champasak and Attapeu, were honored during a handover ceremony in Champasak on May 7.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the remains were discovered by a special task committee from Kon Tum province. This effort was carried out in collaboration with Lao counterparts in the provinces of Champasak, Sekong, and Attapeu during the 2024-2025 dry season. This mission highlights the continued cooperation between Vietnamese and Lao authorities in honoring those who served.
