Russian Academy Pledges Tech Support for Vietnam’s Personnel Competency Assessment

Hanoi: Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) Alexey Komissarov has affirmed readiness to transfer technology and help Vietnam build a unified, data-driven framework for evaluating the professional and personal competencies of officials and civil servants. During a working session in Hanoi on December 8 with President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), and Chairman of the Central Theory Council Prof. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Komissarov suggested deeper collaboration in research and wider rollout of RANEPA’s proprietary assessment platforms.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this partnership aims to enhance the competence assessment processes in Vietnam, leveraging RANEPA’s expertise in developing comprehensive evaluation systems. The proposed collaboration would involve the exchange of technology and methodologies, enabling the integration of RANEPA’s established frameworks within Vietnam’s existing systems. The meeting underscored the importance of adopting a systematic approach to competency evaluation, facilitating the development of a skilled and efficient civil service workforce in Vietnam.
