Hanoi: Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, and Chairman of its Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac on September 4 received a delegation from the United Left Movement Party (MIU) of the Dominican Republic. The delegation was led by its General Secretary and Minister of Regional Integration Policies, Jos© Miguel Meja Abreu.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to enhance the relationship between the CPV and MIU. Both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation and mutual interests, focusing on strengthening ties between Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. The visit by the MIU delegation signifies an effort to deepen political collaboration and explore opportunities for regional integration.
