Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong held a working session with relevant agencies on October 15 to look into preparations for the signing ceremony of the UN Convention against Cybercrime, known as the Hanoi Convention, scheduled to take place in Hanoi on October 25-26. The event is poised to gather international attention and participation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Steering Committee for the event reported that as of October 14, 93 delegations, led by high-ranking leaders and ministers from various countries, had confirmed their participation. The event will see the involvement of over 1,000 delegates and media representatives, underscoring the global significance and collaborative effort in addressing cybercrime.
