Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong and his spouse attended the Homeland Spring special art programme at the National Convention Centre, Hanoi on February 8. The event, themed 'Vietnam's Aspiration: Peace and Prosperity,' is known as Xuan Que Huong (Homeland Spring) 2026. It serves not only as a traditional Lunar New Year gathering but also as a significant people-to-people diplomacy activity in overseas Vietnamese (OV) affairs.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the programme plays a pivotal role in realizing the Party and State policies on national unity. It aims to mobilize resources from expatriates for the country's development.
