Vietnam Fatherland Front Cherishes Contributions of Overseas Vietnamese

Hanoi: The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) consistently values and treasures the significant contributions made by the overseas Vietnamese (OV) community, Chairwoman of the VFF Central Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai affirmed. Emphasizing the unwavering stance of the Party and State, she highlighted that the OV community is considered an inseparable segment and a pivotal resource for the Vietnamese nation. During a meeting held in Hanoi on February 8, 2025, to honor outstanding OV collectives and individuals, Hoai expressed her satisfaction with the community's expanding development in terms of size, composition, and potential.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Chairwoman noted that many expatriates have made remarkable achievements and established themselves in their host societies. Some have even ventured into politics, while others have gained global academic recognition. This growing prominence of the OV community not only underscores their potential but also enriches the cultural and economic fabric of Vietnam.
