Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong, accompanied by his spouse and a Vietnamese high-ranking delegation, departed from Hanoi on the morning of August 3 for official state visits to Egypt and Angola. These visits are being conducted at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and his spouse, as well as Angolan President Joo Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço and his spouse.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the state visits aim to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and the two African nations. The delegation’s itinerary includes meetings with high-level officials and discussions on enhancing cooperation in various sectors. President Cuong’s visits are expected to bolster partnerships and explore new opportunities for collaboration in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
