Ottawa: Science and technology are paving the way for stronger ties between Vietnam and Canada, with artificial intelligence, aerospace, and other strategic technologies at the forefront.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Assoc. Prof. Vu Viet Hung, a researcher from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada, highlighted the potential for these scientific partnerships to evolve into tangible products, businesses, and economic value.

Ahead of the state visit by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam to Canada, Hung, who also chairs the Canadian Vietnamese Scholars and Experts Association (CVSEA), noted that both countries are increasingly recognizing AI, quantum technology, clean energy, and aerospace as crucial areas for development.
