Phu quoc: The Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee and Sun Group have officially commenced construction on the Bai Dat Do (Ruby Beach) Mixed-Use Urban Area and the Ong Quan Mountain Ecotourism Mixed-Use Urban Area. These developments are two of the 21 approved projects for APEC 2027. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on January 28 and was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with senior leaders from the Party and the State.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted the significance of these projects during his remarks at the ceremony. He emphasized that the swift initiation of major projects following the conclusion of the 14th National Party Congress reflects a commitment to making strategic decisions, executing them promptly, and evaluating the results effectively.
