Vinh long: The 30MW Sunpro - Ben Tre wind power plant, invested by Pacifico Energy Vietnam Co., Ltd., a member of the US-based Pacifico Energy, was inaugurated in Thoi Thuan commune, the southern province of Vinh Long. The inauguration took place on January 9, marking a significant milestone in the region's renewable energy efforts.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the plant was officially put into commercial operation on December 19 last year. It features seven turbines and represents a total investment of about 1.6 trillion VND (60.9 million USD). The project is expected to generate 89.5 GWh per year, which is sufficient to supply electricity for approximately 27,000 households.
