Talkshow Introduces Durian Cuisine in Dak Lak

Hanoi: A talkshow themed 'Introducing the Art of Durian Cuisine' was held in Dak Lak province on June 30. Organised by the province's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the program is a meaningful communication activity ahead of the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026. It brought together world-class culinary experts and renowned chefs from Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia - the three largest durian-growing and exporting countries in the world. At the talkshow, the chefs showcased 7 creative dishes combining Dak Lak durian with the culinary styles of the three countries, from appetizers and main courses to desserts.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event aimed to highlight the unique culinary potential of Dak Lak durian and promote the fruit's versatility in various dishes. The program provided an opportunity for local and international audiences to experience the diverse uses of durian beyond traditional consumption methods. Culinary experts at the talkshow emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing the cultural and economic value of local produce.
