Hanoi: Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on enhancing cooperation in the defence industry. This agreement was finalized during a meeting involving high-ranking delegations from the defence ministries of both nations on June 30.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the MoU was signed by Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Truong Thang, the Deputy Minister of National Defence of Vietnam, and Lieut. Gen. Ibrahim Nasser Mohammed Al Alawi, the Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Defence. The signing marks a significant step towards strengthening ties between the two countries in the realm of defence collaboration.
