Tan Son Nhat Airport Prepares for Influx with 750 Daily Flights

Hanoi: Tan Son Nhat International Airport is gearing up for a significant increase in activity, with expectations to handle approximately 750 flights and up to 125,000 passengers daily during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the extended holiday period from April 26 to May 1. The airport authority has projected that from April 24 to May 3, there will be a 12% rise in daily flights compared to typical operations, comprising around 450 domestic and 300 international flights each day.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the number of passengers is anticipated to grow by 14%, with an estimated 75,000 domestic travelers and 50,000 international passengers each day. This surge comes as the airport prepares to accommodate the increased demand brought on by the holiday festivities. The airport authority has been coordinating efforts to ensure that operations run smoothly during this busy period, focusing on both flight management and passenger services.
