Dong nai: Leveraging its strategic location, ample industrial land, increasingly well-developed transport infrastructure, and ongoing efforts to improve the investment climate, the southern province of Tay Ninh is emerging as an attractive destination for high-quality foreign direct investment (FDI). The province is focusing on attracting high-tech, environmentally sustainable manufacturing projects with high added value and strong potential to integrate into global supply chains.
According to Vietnam News Agency, in the first half of 2026, Tay Ninh licensed 70 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of 339.63 million USD. During the same period, 69 existing projects increased their registered capital by a combined 1.93 billion USD, bringing the total value of newly registered and additional FDI to 2.27 billion USD. This performance ranked Tay Ninh fourth nationwide in FDI attraction during the period.
To date, the province has attracted 2,051 foreign-invested projects with a combined registered capital of 27.6 billion USD.
