Hanoi:The southern province of Tay Ninh has been actively enhancing its industrial infrastructure and investment initiatives since the start of 2026. This strategy is aimed at bolstering economic growth by improving the capacity to support both new and existing business projects.
According to Vietnam News Agency, in the first nine months of 2026, Tay Ninh licensed a total of 142 new domestic investment projects, with a registered capital amounting to nearly 86 trillion VND, equivalent to 3.3 billion USD. This reflects an increase of 15 projects and over 55 trillion VND compared to the same period in the previous year. Additionally, the province approved 113 new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, totaling over 838 million USD in registered capital, marking an increase of 126 million USD from the previous year.
Furthermore, Tay Ninh saw an increase in registered capital for 33 domestic projects by 2.761 trillion VND and for 73 FDI projects by more than 554 million USD. Currently, the province hosts 3,234 domestic investment projects with a combined registered capital of nearly 800 trillion VND and 2,152 FDI projects with total registered capital surpassing 27 billion USD. This places Tay Ninh seventh in the nation for FDI attraction.
