The Royal Thai Navy organized an event to honor His Majesty the King.

The Royal Thai Navy organized activities on the occasion of His Majesty the King's Birthday Anniversary, 28 July 2024. There will also be a ceremony to release 7,300 freshwater fish as a royal merit-making offering, including sea bass, snakehead fish, silver carp, and gold carp. There will also be a Buddhist chanting ceremony to offer royal merit, a wreath-laying ceremony to pay homage, an oath-taking ceremony to be a good civil servant and a power of the country, a signing ceremony to offer royal blessings, and a blood donation activity to offer royal merit. For the event on the occasion of His Majesty the King's birthday, the Royal Volunteer Activity "We Do Good Deeds with Our Hearts" for the Royal Thai Navy is divided into 7 areas: Bangkok and its vicinity, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, Songkhla Province, Chanthaburi and Trat Provinces, the Northeastern Region, and the 3 Southern Border Provinces. For the Bangkok and its vicinity, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy and the President of the Royal Thai Navy Wives Association, along with volunteer personnel from the Royal Thai Navy, government and private agencies, educational institutions, and local volunteers participated in the "We Do Good Deeds with Our Hearts" volunteer activity by cleani ng and improving the landscape of Suwannaram Ratchaworawihan Temple, Bang Khun Non District, Bangkok, developing the Ban Bu community area and nearby areas, as well as setting up service points for the public, including setting up a royal kitchen to provide lunch, haircutting services, and basic bicycle and motorcycle repair services. In addition, there are also services to repair electrical appliances in the home, basic medical services, donating sports equipment to Suwannaram Ratchaworawihan Temple, and donating royal gifts to people in the area. The Navy Commander then traveled to deliver houses in the Bang Khun Non area of ??Bangkok that participated in the project to develop quality of life, farmland and housing to honor His Majesty the King. The Internal Security Operations Command was the main responsible unit, repairing 720 houses for the poor and 720 houses for the disabled, totaling 1,440 houses nationwide on behalf of the government.
