Top Lao Leader Pays Tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, War Martyrs

Hanoi: Party General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse, along with a delegation of high-ranking Lao officials, laid a wreath at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi on January 27 to pay tribute to Vietnam's late leader as part of their state visit. The Lao leader and his entourage then laid flowers at the monument to fallen heroes and martyrs on Bac Son street.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the tribute is part of the official activities during the state visit of the Lao delegation to Vietnam. The visit underscores the strong ties between Laos and Vietnam, as both countries continue to honor shared historical figures and moments that have shaped their relationship. The ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the monument to war martyrs highlights the respect and remembrance of the sacrifices made by leaders and soldiers in the past.
