Vientiane: General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President Thongloun Sisoulith engaged in discussions with Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong in Vientiane on April 24. This meeting followed an official welcome ceremony for the Vietnamese leader. The primary focus of their talks was on strategies to deepen and enhance the comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, after their discussions, the leaders were present to witness the signing of several cooperation documents. These agreements involved multiple ministries, organizations, and provinces from both countries, aiming to strengthen bilateral relations.
