Hanoi: General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith visited and had a working session with the government of Hanoi on January 27 as part of his two-day State visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit emphasizes the strengthening of bilateral relations between Laos and Vietnam. The discussions focused on various sectors including economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and mutual support on regional issues. The meeting aimed to bolster the longstanding partnership and explore new avenues of collaboration.
