Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and State President To Lam, accompanied by his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, departed Hanoi on April 14 for a four-day state visit to China. The visit is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping and his spouse. According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and China. Discussions are expected to cover a range of bilateral issues, including economic cooperation, regional security, and cultural exchanges. Both leaders are anticipated to explore opportunities to enhance collaboration in various sectors to bolster the long-standing relationship between the two countries. The Vietnamese delegation consists of key officials who will engage in meetings with their Chinese counterparts. The agenda includes high-level talks and a series of activities to foster mutual understanding and partnership. The visit signifies both nations' commitment to maintaining close communication and cooperation on global and regional matters of mutual interest.
