Aukland: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President of Vietnam To Lam met with Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives Gerry Brownlee in Aukland on August 13 afternoon (local time).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and New Zealand. Both leaders discussed potential areas of cooperation, emphasizing the importance of building strong diplomatic ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration in trade and education.
