Ho chi minh city: The Ho Chi Minh City Association for Protection of Children's Rights and the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Psychology and Education have taken a significant step towards enhancing mental health support by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on August 13. This agreement aims to establish and operate a psychological and social support office for children and families, in addition to launching a network of support places throughout the city.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative is designed to offer children and families a trusted source of assistance. This development is part of a broader effort to create an inter-sectoral network dedicated to safeguarding children's mental health and wellbeing in Ho Chi Minh City. The launch of these support centers is expected to play a crucial role in addressing the psychological and social needs of the community, ensuring that adequate resources and support systems are in place for families and children in need.
