This directive was given during a gathering held in Hanoi on July 18, marking the 64th anniversary of the People's Police force's traditional day, which spans from July 20, 1962, to 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the leader emphasized the importance of the police force adapting to the evolving needs of the nation.
