Hanoi: Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man met with King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in Hanoi on August 19. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan are on a State visit to Vietnam from August 18 to 22.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting highlights the strengthening relations between Vietnam and Bhutan. The discussions during the meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors. Both leaders emphasized the importance of fostering diplomatic ties and exploring avenues for future collaboration.
