La guaira: Acting President of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez chaired a ceremony in La Guaira state to honour international rescue forces for their contributions to search and rescue operations following the twin earthquakes that struck the South American nation on June 24. According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony, held on July 3, was an opportunity for Venezuela to express gratitude to the international community for their support. During this event, Acting President Rodriguez sent a letter of gratitude and awarded the "Hero of Venezuela" medal to Vietnam's Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, through Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My. The awards and recognition were part of Venezuela's efforts to acknowledge the significant international assistance received during the crisis.
