Hanoi: Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan led a delegation to offer flowers and incense to martyrs at the Truong Bon National Historical Site in Nghe An province's Bach Ha commune on July 26 on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947-2026). In the evening, she participated in a national-level candlelight ceremony to honor heroic martyrs.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the activities were part of a series of events held nationwide to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence and freedom. The Vice President's participation emphasized the significance of remembering the contributions of war invalids and martyrs.
