Hanoi: Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan on April 27 met with 101 outstanding grassroots trade union chairpersons recognised for achievements in workplace dialogue and collective bargaining during 2023-2025, praising their role in protecting workers' rights and helping foster harmonious labour relations. The meeting was held on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2026) and International Workers' Day (May 1).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vice State President highlighted the significant contributions of these trade union leaders in enhancing workplace dialogue and collective bargaining processes. She acknowledged their efforts in creating a supportive environment that ensures the protection of workers' rights and promotes a balanced relationship between employers and employees. The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining strong labour relations and the critical role trade unions play in achieving this goal.
