Hanoi: The Vietnam International Fisheries Exhibition (Vietfish 2026) officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City on August 19, themed ‘Innovation and Sustainability.’ The event gathers 568 booths representing Vietnam and 18 other countries and territories. The exhibition is organized by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) and spans more than 14,000 square meters at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), marking a significant expansion.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the three-day event aims to showcase advancements and sustainable practices within the seafood industry. Participants include industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders focused on driving the future of seafood production and trade. The exhibition provides a platform for networking, collaboration, and exploring new opportunities in the global seafood market.
