Algiers:Gen. Said Chengriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army of Algeria, hosted a welcome ceremony on September 26 for a delegation from the Vietnam People’s Army, led by Gen. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Director of the VPA’s General Department of Politics.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Chengriha expressed that the official visit marks a significant step forward in bolstering military ties between Vietnam and Algeria. He emphasized that this enhanced cooperation will benefit the interests of both nations.
The discussions between the military leaders aimed at strengthening military cooperation and further elevating the relationship between the two armies.
