Algiers:A documentary highlighting the shared history of Vietnam and Algeria in their struggles for national independence was screened in Algeria on September 27. This event underscored the enduring solidarity and mutual support that have formed a special foundation for the friendship between the two nations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the program was a collaborative effort between Vietnamese and Algerian agencies. It featured a documentary focusing on the evolution of friendship and solidarity between the countries, emphasizing their historical ties and mutual support during revolutionary movements.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, attended the screening as part of his working visit to Algeria.
