Hanoi:The Vietnamese Party and State are committed to enhancing defence cooperation with Cambodia, stated General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the statement was made during a meeting with General Tea Seiha, a member of the Standing Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of National Defence, who is visiting Vietnam.

General Tea Seiha is in Vietnam for the annual meeting of defence ministers from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, as well as to participate in a joint military exercise involving the armies of the three nations.
