Hanoi: A friendship meeting marking the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Chile was held in Hanoi on March 25. The event was jointly organised by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), the Vietnam - Chile Friendship and Cooperation Association, and the Chilean Embassy in Vietnam.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting celebrated the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations, which dates back to March 25, 1971. The event aimed to strengthen the existing bond and explore further cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Chile.
During the meeting, representatives from both countries highlighted the mutual benefits and achievements accomplished over the years. Discussions also focused on enhancing collaborations in various sectors including trade, education, and culture to foster a deeper bilateral relationship.
The event served as a platform for both nations to reaffirm their commitment to working together towards shared goals and interests, paving the way for future diplomatic successes.
