Hanoi:Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee's Political Bureau and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung engaged in discussions with Miguel Mejia, Secretary General of the United Left Movement (MIU) of the Dominican Republic. Mejia is currently on a working visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the talks focused on advancing the cooperation agreement between the CPV and MIU. The meeting took place in Hanoi on October 27.

Both parties are seeking to strengthen ties and enhance collaboration through this cooperative effort, reflecting a mutual interest in deepening political and diplomatic relations.
