Vietnam and Germany Enhance Cooperation on Energy Transition and Green Hydrogen

Hanoi: A high-level delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), headed by Managing Director Thorsten Sch¤fer-Gmbel, visited the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) to foster Vietnam-Germany collaboration in sustainable development, energy transition, and green hydrogen.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit on February 4 marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations, particularly in the fields of energy transition and green hydrogen. The discussions during the visit focused on advancing projects that would support Vietnam's efforts in achieving a sustainable energy future.

The German delegation's visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation in areas critical to both nations' environmental and economic goals. The partnership aims to leverage Germany's expertise in sustainable energy technologies and Vietnam's growing commitment to environmental sustainability to create impactful projects in energy transition and the development of green hydrogen solutions.
