Vietnam and Japan Aim to Strengthen Strategic Ties

Hanoi: Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung hosted a visiting delegation of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) led by Executive Acting Secretary-General Koichi Hagiuda in Hanoi on July 21.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the Vietnamese and Japanese representatives focused on enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations. Both sides expressed their commitment to furthering bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including economy, security, and culture. The discussions underscored the importance of strengthening mutual ties to address regional and global challenges effectively.

The visit by the Japanese delegation highlights the ongoing efforts by both countries to build upon their existing relationship, which has seen significant growth in recent years.
