Vietnam and Laos Strengthen Journalism Training Cooperation

Vientiane: The Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education, in partnership with Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, initiated two specialized training courses aimed at enhancing the professional skills of Lao journalists and media personnel in the digital age. The courses were launched in Vientiane on June 22.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this initiative underscores the commitment of both Vietnam and Laos to bolster the capabilities of media professionals amidst the evolving demands of the digital landscape. These training courses are designed to equip Lao journalists with the necessary skills to navigate and excel in the rapidly changing media environment.

The collaboration between the two countries reflects a shared vision to foster a more informed and skilled media workforce. Through this partnership, Vietnam and Laos aim to promote a deeper exchange of knowledge and expertise in journalism, ultimately contributing to the development of a robust media sector in Laos.
