Vietnam and Thailand Enhance Cooperation in Science and Technology

Bangkok: A visiting delegation from Vietnam's Central Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation held talks with Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) on May 28, opening up prospects for deeper cooperation and greater exchanges of experience in institutional development and sci-tech governance. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission and standing deputy head of the Steering Committee.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this meeting signifies a strategic effort by both nations to bolster their capacities in science, technology, and innovation. The discussions focused on leveraging each country's strengths to foster mutual growth and address challenges in developing their respective science and technology sectors. The engagement is expected to lead to collaborative projects, joint research initiatives, and an exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two countries.

The Vietnamese delegation's visit underscores the importance of international cooperation in advancing technological capabilities and innovation.
