Vietnam-Australia Centre Helps Strengthen Policy, Leadership Links

Hanoi: The 6th meeting of the Vietnam-Australia Centre (VAC) Steering Committee was held in Hanoi on July 31, focusing on reviewing past activities and discussing future directions. The event was co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), and Australian Ambassador Gillian Bird.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to evaluate the progress of the Vietnam-Australia Centre in fostering policy and leadership connections between the two countries. Discussions centered on assessing the outcomes of previous initiatives and charting a course for upcoming projects that could further enhance bilateral collaboration in various sectors.

The Vietnam-Australia Centre, established to strengthen the ties between the two nations, continues to play a pivotal role in facilitating dialogue and cooperation on policy and leadership issues.
