Vietnam, Australia Enhance Fintech Collaboration

Ho chi minh city: As Vietnam accelerates digital banking and develops an international financial centre, cooperation with Australia in financial technology (fintech) and regulatory technology (regtech) is expected to unlock significant opportunities for building a modern, transparent, and globally connected financial ecosystem. The outlook was highlighted at a conference on the strategic vision for the Vietnam International Financial Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC) and Vietnam-Australia cooperation potential, jointly organised on April 14 by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and the VIFC-HCMC executive authority.

This partnership is anticipated to facilitate the exchange of expertise, promote investment, and drive advancements in digital banking and financial services. As both nations strive to enhance their financial sectors, this cooperation is seen as a crucial step towards creating a globally integrated financial marketplace.
