Quang Ninh:Vietnam is setting its sights on a strategic vision for national transformation facilitated by artificial intelligence (AI), which is seen as a key capability for driving growth model innovation, enhancing productivity, and strengthening national competitiveness, as conveyed by Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Minister Quan made these remarks during a ministerial-level roundtable on digital and AI cooperation. The event, themed 'Building Smart Connectivity, Governing AI, Enabling AI Transformation,' took place in Quang Ninh city and was part of Vietnam International Digital Week 2026.

The roundtable highlighted the importance of AI in the country's future growth and development, emphasizing its role in transforming various sectors and improving overall efficiency.
