Saitama: A ‘Vietnam Goods Week’ at Japan’s AEON retail system officially opened in Saitama prefecture on June 19. This large-scale event is part of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade’s project on promoting Vietnamese enterprises’ direct participation in foreign distribution networks by 2030.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative aims to enhance the presence of Vietnamese products in international markets, specifically through collaboration with major retail chains like AEON. This event is expected to provide a significant platform for Vietnamese enterprises to showcase their products and establish a stronger foothold in Japan’s retail market.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade has been actively working to facilitate this direct engagement for local businesses, with the goal of increasing export opportunities and expanding the reach of Vietnamese goods globally by 2030. The collaboration with AEON, a well-established retail system in Japan, represents a strategic step in achieving these objectives.
