Vietnam Hosts Geneva Photo Exhibition Celebrating UNHRC Membership

Geneva: The Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation, and other international organisations in Geneva opened a photo exhibition themed ‘Vietnam – a Dynamic and Aspirational Nation’ on December 12. This event marked Vietnam’s election as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the 2026 – 2028 term. The exhibition drew the attendance of ambassadors, heads and deputy heads of diplomatic missions, representatives from UNHRC member states, human rights experts, and Vietnam’s partners in Geneva. This gathering highlighted international support for Vietnam’s upcoming role.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the photo exhibition aimed to showcase Vietnam’s journey and aspirations as it prepares to assume its responsibilities within the UNHRC.
